ROTONDA HEIGHTS CONSERVATION ASSOCIATION, INC.
REGULAR BOARD OF DIRECTORS’ MEETING
October 24, 2018
The duly noticed Regular Board of Directors’ meeting of the Rotonda Heights Conservation Association, Inc. was held on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, in the Management Office at 3754 Cape Haze Drive, Rotonda West, Florida. The meeting was called to order at 3:08 p.m. by President and Chairman, Jim Harper. Directors in attendance were Jim Harper, Deborah Clements and Jim Kussow. Mike Evers and Paul Scribner were excused. Also present were Property Managers Tim Freeman and Brenda Wright, and Assistant Lisa Labarre. A quorum of the Board was present so the meeting could proceed.
MINUTES: MOTION was made by Deborah Clements, seconded by Jim Kussow, and unanimously carried to approve the Minutes of the September 26, 2018 Board of Directors’ meeting as presented.
TREASURER’S REPORT: Brenda Wright highlighted the Financial Report, reflecting that all accounts balance, and that the year is looking good to finish on budget.
ACC: Owners/Builders of 141 Island Court submitted plans and application. The Association consultant reviewed the plans and application and found that they meet the Association established criteria for new construction, with the following contingencies:
1. Owner/builder to submit for Association review and approval, the shutter color.
2. In addition to submitted landscape plan, owner/builder to add landscape to left front corner wrapping to left elevation.
3. Owner/builder to submit pool equipment sight screen dimensions and materials for Association review and approval.
Deed Restrictions: There were overgrown landscape and weed deed restriction violations; letters were sent.
Owners at 242 Wayne Road submitted a request for modification to replace their roof. A MOTION was made by Jim Kussow, seconded by Deborah Clements, and unanimously carried to approve owner’s request.
Owners at 243 Indian Creek Drive submitted a request for modification to install hand rails on their steps. A MOTION was made by Jim Kussow, seconded by Deborah Clements, and unanimously carried to approve owner’s request.
Owners at 159 Kings Drive submitted a request for modification to replace their roof. A MOTION was made by Deborah Clements, seconded by Jim Kussow, and unanimously carried to approve owner’s request.
OLD BUSINESS: None.
NEW BUSINESS: None at this time.
Next Meeting: The next Board of Directors’ meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, immediately following the Annual Meeting which will begin at 3:00 p.m.
